Red Flowering Currant are deciduous shrubs that grow about 6 to 12 feet tall and are native to the west coast of North America. They are one of the first to flower in spring and are a favorite of hummingbirds. They host up to 85 moths and butterflies, and in the summer they produce berries for the birds and wildlife.
